I actually gave the episode an A. Everything worked for me.

I feel that Quagmire was the star of this episode. I didnt really like a lot of the Peter jokes so it was refreshing to see Quagmire say "I'm starting to think all you do is joke around."
Not saying bad things dont exist though.
I'm glad Dipper and Wendy just "hung out" this time because all those episodes that were really all about Dipper's romance feel like they take away from the premise of just exploring a mysterious town with interesting characters. I still love ever episode but I just hope the love thing doesnt turn into a Romantic Plot…
Nah, like everything, people always look for the bad parts of stuff and overlook the good parts. That's why news stories are usually incredibly grim for some reason.
But Die Hard 4 got critically positive reviews?
Maybe
They were though, just in different genres.
I have to admit that I noticed that's probably why I chose Jimmy Jr.
I was fine with her losing both because they wouldnt want to pair her off so quickly, but I agree it ended in a way too embarrassing way.
Yeah, I found every skydiving gag worked. If they just went with it and made each gag more over the top until the end and just capping it with the las vegas thing the episode would have been amazing.
A joke like that works based on how it's executed. American Dad executed it better for many reasons. Maybe the fact that everyone was acting in character, maybe because there was stuff going on and actual plot than just muslim stereotype jokes.
I remember his Piers Morgan interview where Alec talks about how much he hates Paparazzi and now I can never /not/ remember it whenever thins like this come up.
QUICK! Who won the Dance Off?
The first act with skydiving was just awesome. Once I saw the Muslim guy I lost hope for the episode and it reminded me of when that "Killed Quagmire's cat" episode just did an extreme shift to a legalize weed episode. Kinda wish they did a full episode of just skydiving gags to be honest.
Or maybe most people are wrapped up in nostalgia?
I'm very happy to see that people are finally getting tired of the childish, silly, nostalgia-fueled Simpsons hate going on here. I find it difficult to take all this "Simpsons is terrible now" seriously, especially since Ive enjoyed most of this season.
I thought that Bobby vacationing in a Target was totally in-character, which made me not be bothered at all.
I'm glad that I started watching this show late last season to not be held back by my memories and enjoy every episode.
He most likely will come back since the show does not forget characters.
