I think Claudette wants that too when she puts in a good word for him at Robbery & Homicide. Part of her is pushing him away so that he can't worry about her/vice versa and the other part is wanting him to be acknowledged for the work he does.

Watch it, those are delicate machinery.

I'm personally not a fan of tattoos (small case of OCD) so ignore this as you will.

Jonathan Liebesman really stepped into a can't-lose situation here didn't he?

It always bothered me that the Team didn't do anything to celebrate Lem's birthday. Even on the rewatch, knowing they wouldn't, I still wanted Vic, Shane, and Ronnie to bring Lem out to a strip club or something for the night. But, alas, that scene exists in the same world as the Monster Truck Rally scene.

And he is such a hypocrite. In "Tapa Boca" Shane wants to make sure that Lem will protect the team and Vic shoots Shane a look like, "how could you even say that?! Lem isn't going to prison." Shane admittingly works to get himself free what Vic continues to say they will all get through this.

Topping, barely, his face when him and Vic meet for the first time in The Barn. He thinks he won this encounter, still thinks he has the upper hand, and was waiting for the lies Acaveda warned him about and now understands what they look like. But only the viewer and Vic know Kavanaugh is far off from the actuality.

"hasn't been a jam yet we haven't slipped out of."

I'm not trying to troll or attack you here but can you explain what it is about shows like Mad Men and Deadwood and even Game of Thrones (as a book reader/show watcher I can tell you there's a lot of issues in plotting and pacing and foreshadowing in both) that sets them apart in that upper echelon. (I'll give you The

Maybe all we needed was a week break (Back your shit up Nowalk). I can't remember this many comments on day 1 or this many comments so quickly into day 1.

So much Hyiatt hate. I never loved the guy. But I didn't overly dislike him either. He served a purpose.

To borrow a phrase from The Departed "I don't want to be a product of my environment, I want my environment to be a product of me."

I believe Kavanaugh even brings this up in his plea to get Aceveda on his side (before turning to the political angle). Aceveda knew Terry, he brought him in, he sent Terry into the lion's den. And yet just a couple years later (which isn't much when we think how slowly the wheels of justice move these days) he can't

SPOILERS (Possibly, better safe than sorry)

I enjoyed Shaman King when I was around that age. The manga starts off slightly juvenile(?) but the themes get darker as the series progresses. It similar in tone to Soul Eater (though I only caught the anime of that).

Dick has been armed with a gun before - during his tenure as a Bludhaven cop. He never fires it but there is a good flashback around issue #35 (of the pre-New52 series) where Batman is training Robin with firearms explaining that though they don't use guns, they also don't fear them and they must be smarter with them

Ugh. Probably. Or just simply as "Grayson." The worst thing was she had Rick Leonardi and Patrick Zircher on art at times, who both fit the character really well, and she churned out shit storylines. The mid-2000s were an odd time to be a Nightwing fan.
