E. Buzz—evolution is a theory.  The problem is that most of those people on the internet boards don't actually understand what the word theory means in technical contexts.

As someone trained in a technical field that requires some background in the sciences may I say what passes through my mind when ever I hear that argument which is "You keep using the word "theory."  I don't think it means what you think it means."
