Finally discovered Hugh Howey's Wool, a post-apocalyptic, underground silo survival thriller and moved on to Shift, which provides the back story. I can't remember the last time I read something that I quite literally could not put down.

The JB Horns, the phenomenal organ playing on Patti Dooke and the eschewing of filler (skits) make this my go-to De La record.
