I don't know French very well so maybe someone can confirm this, but it seems like it gets translated to a fairly wide variety of English swears. I think it's a fairly general purpose profanity in a lot of cases.

I've always found doing a Google Blog search for obscure albums to be a fairly effective way of finding full copies of them. Sorting the results chronologically is the best option for this.
