Thanks, Myles.
Thanks, Myles.
So when is this on, and on what network?
Or did you mention it and I just missed it?
I'm with you, Caffro. This episode could be setting up a pretty interesting arc, where Dexter gets Lumen to help him with his Trinity suspicion issues. So when Todd says, "an episode of Dexter with low stakes is often a pretty bad episode of Dexter, and even though I like individual moments of this episode, I'd be…
Also, there was Sean Cullen's imagining of Morrissey doing a Bond theme:

Okay, a "hipster" is someone with better taste in music than you, who lives in an interesting city with an enjoyable nightlife, and is dating someone who looks better than the person you're dating, if you're dating anyone.
The first time I saw an ad for this movie, I thought it was another AT&T commercial.
Just thought I'd mention it.
Yoko Ono
"But if I had to narrow it down to just one polarizing figure, I think it would have to be Yoko Ono. For some reason, I've ended up dating two women who both idolized the Widder Lennon, and while I respect her career and think she's a decent human being, I tend to dismiss her music in particular as…
"Maybe it was because you have some [of] her in your blood. "
Ran
The Kurosawa film. I got into a huge argument with my mother about the scene where the head was being delivered.
Another Brubaker Shoutout to an Alt-Comedian
One of the murder victims is "Scotty Adsit", and Phillips drew a pretty good likeness of Scott Adsit, of Mr. Show and 30 Rock.
Worst 3D Conversion?
What about Metalstorm: The Destruction of Jared-Syn in 3-D?
Wait a second, Girl 6 came out *after* Clockers. Man, you start pushing 40, and your mind starts fucking with you.
And I repeated the "ever" for emphasis.
Clockers
I thought I was completely over Spike Lee, a director whom I once viewed as a must-see, no matter how much he annoyed me. Then Girl 6, Crooklyn … I had written him off.
Well, they let him do a brief Charlton Heston impersonation during "Jackass Junior High", but he didn't get a chance to do Nicholson. A bit of trivia: Hartman was hired to do voiceover work for Nicholson when they needed different audio takes in his films. It is, unfortunately, a bit of trivia that I am unable to…
French Diplomacy has 2 of my favorite Bill lines:
"How was I supposed to know that there was someone out there named Joe Vigilante?"
Sledge Hammer is in this!
Did you guys catch the upcoming scenes? That guy who played Sledge Hammer is in this show!
My allergies really kicked in near the end of that episode. That's why I started tearing up.
It's a great flick, but the most memorable scene for me is the one where Dickens and Pullman are discussing the Corrodium 3 deduction, and you're not sure if: 1) she made the whole thing up, 2) it's a real thing, but Pullman made up a fake explanation for it, or 3) it's real and Pullman's answer happens to be right.
No one caught it?
Neil Patrick Harris almost cracking up during the bar scene where he explains that America's foremost cultural export is porn.
