Yeah, I pulled out my old Magic Cards and the art brought back tons of memories. I had some friends who would try to collect all the cards by certain artists (Hoover was a favorite) and would pay above market rate. Also, some other friends would shy away from cards with some of the goofier artwork. I miss the variety.

Yeah, but you actually have to think ahead and plan a little bit with those two. Plus you are stuck with blue decks.

Some of the cards that they don't reprint have really confusing effects that are very difficult to reconcile with other cards being played. (This leads to fights with your friends in the basement…I've heard.)

You can still buy these unopened decks for somewhere in the thousands.
