Really, if Chris Pratt looked like that all the time, I might have already gone blind.

That speech was up there with with the "today will be the world's independence day" speech from ID4 in terms of "moments in American pop culture that are nearly impossible for non-Americans to choke down."

When I was a kid I was completely weirded out by the kids in ET going out in costume before it was dark.  I think coming to grips with that depiction of daylight trick-or-treating helped me cope with F&G.

Oh, God, the pain I felt on her behalf with the egging… I never did THAT, but I did once give my brother a bloody nose by throwing the TV converter at his face — and then had to deal with getting him help while he gushed blood and still didn't rat me out.  That scene powerfully reminded me of the moment of panicked

We Hate Movies threw me into a Phil Hartman funk and I did some digging around to basically find out how his kids are.  I found the daughter's Twitter account where she and Sinbad have an exchange over her naming a kitten after him.  It was strangely heartening. 

I laughed through the whole thing, largely at the picture Hodgman was painting of this job gone horribly wrong.  I thought it was a great example of what makes the show fun.
