Is your avatar Kevin Spacey? I've heard it from numerous people that he singles out young male PAs and relentlessly pursues them. Like uncomfortably so.

No, no he wasn't. Both kids were in the room when she said it supposedly happened. The older brother threatened to testify against her. She called my mom to personally apologize for making her think worse of her husband and told her he was completely safe to be around. The whole thing was awful and both boys resented…
Wow.
Not really the object in question is it? Whether he did or not is for the people involved. Sean Penn says he didn't do it. Madonna says he didn't do it. The law is on his side in bringing a defamation case.
Much more likely than not, I agree. But not absolute.
Eh, he'll catch a little flack for it now. It will be in the AV Club and other culture magazines. Then five years from now it will be as widely known as it was yesterday. Except famous people who can be targeted for lawsuits will think twice about making the accusation in public.
Or maybe Sean Penn doesn't really care and is just sick of being accused of beating his wife when he didn't actually beat his wife? Maybe he says he didn't do it, because he didn't do it. It's not like someone accusing their spouse of abuse in the midst of a messy divorce is unheard of, as I mentioned below it…
Good point.
Or maybe Madonna lied about it in the heat of a messy divorce. It happened to my best friend's dad growing up, his mom said he pulled a knife on her after she caught him cheating, then withdrew the accusation.
At that point in his career, paparazzi were just goading Sean Penn into attacking them. It's important to remember context, that guy WANTED Sean Penn to beat him up.
I know this is probably just me, but I feel like beating up paparazzi should be some sort of lesser crime than assault.
Huh, am I having a flashback?
If you don't think another Avatar series will come out at some point in the near future you don't know the industry. It's already had a sequel which was successful, that's all those rapacious bastards need.
Yep, it is like a cold. It's common and relatively mild. You don't treat a cold with chemotherapy, we shouldn't react to some innocuous lie with social ostracization.
He seems really uncomfortable as the host. I think that's why he did a panel, but those panels are such echo-chambers, it's why I've never liked Bill Maher especially.
I find it physically impossible to sit through an episode of this show. And I've watched Battlefield Earth multiple times.
I still say he should have been cast into the Phantom Zone for what he did to Avatar: The Last Airbender.
Give those ad men the key to the city!
You remember when George Lucas said Americans were racist (most definitely true) because we didn't like the movie Red Tails? I always thought that was ironic considering the sole saving grace of that movie was the racial story line. All the horribly executed action and cliched soldier dialogue was what ruined it.
Why would they assign blame when trying to fix the system? What would be the point of saying, "We need to fix this because we solely are responsible for all the nation's ills."
