I could do zany. Just not the same characters, and the dumb as bricks country folks routine, I know it must just be hilarious to Tina Fey, but it's never appealed. The best laugh that routine ever got was when Jeff Dunham completely turned her prejudices back in on her.

I was trying to figure out what was SO unfunny about those last two episodes. I think it might have been the complete stupidity of everyone involved. They kind of went full retard, and it did not work at all. And it was strange because if there was one part of that show the most like 30 Rock it was those last two

Great up until the last two episodes, which basically had no laughs. Got way too 30 Rock-y to it's detriment.

Does Great White Savior even apply when you're talking about latinos? A little over half of hispanic people in this country self-identify as white.

I think Star Wars is right and you'd need some kind of clone or robot army.

Damnit why does he keep making such soft stuff? I thought this looked actually raunchy!

I gotta say, that was the worst job by the internet I've ever seen.

It was terrible life porn. How bad can we make it?

Monique does not seem right for any of those roles. Richard Pryor's mother, maybe, but the wife in the Butler? Monique? Really?

I gotta say I've not been a great fan of Williams, and for a reason she seems to be well aware of! She's super politically self-righteous and self-assured. She would make the Daily Show into Real Time with Bill Maher at this point in her career, and she seems to know it!

They really badly need to make Artemis Fowl already. They've been teasing it forever, and it will make an amazing movie. In my perfect world Guillermo would direct it, because he would do an amazing job with the sets and costumes, but we can't have everything.

Are you some sort of oracle or prophet sent from God himself?!?!

I'm only allowed to watch things I think are good? The Walking Dead is a very entertaining show, but it also one of the worst made shows on television. It's not the fault of the actors or the writers (well some of it has been), they've had a different showrunner every season, with a different idea of where they want

Oppression, yes, but I'm not sold that knowing there are some angry idiots on the right is all that helpful. It's funny, but I don't think acknowledging and shaming them takes any of their power away. I suspect that the notoriety actually helps them.

When was the last time the AV Club gave this show less than a B? They judge it from such an impossibly low bar: "Well the characters spoke lines that weren't literal descriptions of what is right in front of them, which is an improvement!"

That wasn't the point, the point was the historically the company has always lost a lot of money in January, so attributing Stewart's departure to it doesn't make much sense.

I think everyone was getting a little tired of the format, based on some of the reaction pieces and my own opinion. Enough mocking Fox News morning shows, all morning shows are vapid, mocking them doesn't really serve any kind of purpose or inform in any meaningful way. In short, as a liberal, I'd like to have never

Jon Stewart is already divisive as hell so unless rape gets involved he's gonna be fine on that count.

He's clearly been bored for awhile now. There's only so many times you can mock Fox and Friends and still have it be funny. We get it, it's insipid and willfully ignorant. Of course Steve Douce has provided some quality fodder but even he's just a tired old trope.

Or fashion makeshift body armor out of cardboard or carpet or something. It's so effective and so rarely used.
