Just.. ugh

Bogart without the handsomeness is just a sullen creep. As for TW's story structure and seasonal architecture, it's the same as it is on the Soprano's: Introduce problematic character at beginning of season, kill problematic character at end of season. That's why Dr. Narcisse's situation at the end of the last season

The problem with Boardwalk is that they couldn't decide whether to go big picture or tight focus. Probably budget related.
When Angela was offered a chance to go to Paris, I was like, "Hell yeah, ex-pats in Paris, Ginsberg, etc." But then they backed away.
When they go to the political convention, "I thought, hells

Worst. casting mistake. ever.

God I fucking hated Say Anything in high school.

Yes SuperCard is awful, and no I can't stop playing it.

I agree, the movie could have used some dark-humor miscommunication. Though I generally don't seek out films like this one, so I should probably just let others enjoy it and not shit on it.

Definitely artsy for the sake of being artsy. The kind of movie 95% of the people who see it find boring and the 5% who don't think them boorish for the thought.

"cutting away all but the faintest traces of exposition and conventional character development" Pretty much sums up the movie if you ask me. Nope, even better. Pretty much, "Fuck the police." in that he said "Fuck you" to a cop.

Highly underrated in general. My problem is more with the million tiny packages you have to open than with the food itself.

Hey if they want to reap the benefits of personhood, then all aspects of their organization should count as from one person. If a manager makes a decision that endangers people's lives, that's on the organization. Or we can stop treating them like people. They don't get it both ways.

I liked the video montage of the year he had before joining SNL. Too bad it didn't work out for him.

It always amazes me the people in this country who LEAP to the defense of massive soul-less corporations.

That was exactly what I was going to say, "Please don't settle." He doesn't need the money, and Walmart shouldn't be able to scurry away from the light so easily.

I know, but that's the end of it for me. If ANYONE can think of two songs that are recent that are definitely songs of the summer, the debate is ridiculous.

I was actually thinking of Arianna Granda, I now realize, who is in the "Problem" music video
