Final thoughts: not a bad episode, but not a great one. The best thing "Bullies" did was, as the reviewer points out, finally cement Will's status as fallible. (Personally, I think the show already did a better job of that than this reviewer thinks, but the soapboxing had escalated in the past few episodes.) I think

Agreed. The guy is my favorite drummer in modern music; there are more technically proficient ones out there, but his unique style and his ability to render amazing beats from a simple drumset is unlike anyone else.

The stage is marvellously set for Walter White to fail dramatically.

I didn't dig on this episode a whole lot, to be honest. I really, REALLY disliked how Will was turned into the savior of everything at the very end. Sorkin was actually doing well at showing some of Will's flaws, but that moment was so masturbatory I couldn't do anything but roll my eyes.

I think that's a pretty superficial analysis of Jordan. I actually think she's quite strong, especially as shown through her relentless insubordination to Jack Rudolph and the higher-ups in general. That's a pretty tough thing for anyone in show business, a well-documented male-led industry, to pull, especially for a

I like that Olivia Munn's getting more time. Her personality and delivery suit Sorkin's dialogue.

Agreed. One thing Sorkin does well is include a classically-minded theatricality into contemporary mediums. The guy got his degree in musical theatre, for shit's sake; he likely isn't schooled in the nitty-gritty speak that playwrights like Mamet have come to excel at. Very few people on this earth, even intelligent

Much like how on "Studio 60" his idea of a brilliant comedy sketch on an SNL-type show would be a parody of "A Very Model of a Modern Major General."
