A sentiment that is expressed here often, but just wanted to add that I think these reviews are so, SO good. They've made me really want to go back and re-watch the series for the first time since its initial run, which I've never been able to commit to doing (I fear the ability to marathon this show and my lack of…

This is one of those episodes that would not go anywhere near my top 10 best, quality-wise, yet find insanely re-watchable (this actually applies to so much of season six). I just watched it again last night for the first time in years to see if it still held up, and it just has some great moments:

I remember the commentary track for "Ready, Aim, Marry Me!" on the dvd being funnier than the actual episode, particularly Tony Hale and Will Arnett talking about how they couldn't keep it together when they busted in on Lucille 2 and Uncle Jack at the end.

Duchovny's line reading of "How embarrassing" when they first find the bodies under the floor boards and Scully realizes that the one corpse is wearing her outfit just never fails to crack me up.

This is probably true, but whenever I think of storylines from this show, the first thing that comes to mind is Walt and Jesse trying to dispose of a body with acid and a bath tub. I still can't believe that was on television, and just for that I'd say season one was worth it.

As I'm watching the Pacey/Ms. Jacobs storyline, this whole "sleeping with the hot teacher is okay because it's every teenage boys fantasy!" thing seems so dated. Not that every plot has to be taken so deadly serious, especially on ridiculous WB shows, but I can't help but think how much more controversial it would…

I feel the same. I think that seven and eight get pretty unfairly maligned on the whole because, admittedly, there is just some god-awful shit in there. But when (if) they ever get that far in the reviews, I think people will be pleasantly surprised at (or will remember) how good some episodes in those seasons were.
