The political satire has been the show's weak point since Leslie became a councilor.

Where did the guv manage to find such a good hair stylist in the apocalypse? He cleaned up nice.

The sea of triangles (with a box of rice and a Simon) was a great gag, too.

I'm not quite so down on the future because, as the reviewer notes, they seem to be taking a lot more chances this year.

"And that, your honor, is why this whole thing has been a merry mixup."

This episode also had one of the best Weekend Update jokes of the year:

Fun fact about Canada: Blockbuster closed shop here in 2011. I didn't realize they were still around in the States (until recently, of course).

That Mark Zuckerberg monologue will go down as one of the highlights of the season.

I agree that the Canadian accent stuff is overblown, and at a few points, it seemed like they were pushing it so hard that they almost went into a kind of Minnesotan hybrid accent.

"Kobe, don't be rapin'."

The best sight gag of the night was Shaq's slightly delayed pointing to each of the names Keenan's Barkley was listing.

It was embarrassing to see her out there at center stage with Norton at the end of the show.

Did anyone else think that he really nailed that Steve Harvey sketch? At this point, it's become just a tenuous excuse to keep Keenan Thompson around, but I was really impressed by what Norton brought to it.

I caught Jackson Nicoll on Conan the other night and couldn't help but get the impression that his natural tendencies (asshole bro douche in training) plus child stardom were bound to turn out a sociopath.

I'd just like to add how happy I am that a small corner of the Internet remembers Sons and Daughters.

This group really needs to run to a nearby Home Depot and clean out their supply of cement. Stone walls + steel + welding machine = damn near invincibility in the zombie apocalypse

I'm going with theory #1 mixed in with a little bit of what was mentioned above regarding the show's sexiness (or lack thereof).

I don't think I could come up with a precise ranking, but here are some notables for various reasons:

I question how big or small Pawnee actually is, though.

And why does Leslie still seemingly run the Parks department? Doesn't getting elected to public office require one to vacate any administrative positions?
