I'm thinking that maybe this episode was shown out of order? It was way too weird for them to not fully address Kevin being written off

no, except that was my first time commenting.  I stand by my opinion that Modern Family isn't funny anymore.  Maybe I shouldn't have compared the two shows, but Modern Family didn't deserve the A- it received. 

How did this only get a B+ and how did Modern Family get an A-?  This show is Streets Ahead of everything else on ABC.  And Modern Family is just bad, I don't know what happened, but it's terribly unfunny compared to what it used to be.
