"Maybe he'll adopt Brock or something, but that would really be quite the leap."
"Maybe he'll adopt Brock or something, but that would really be quite the leap."
Didn't cross my mind, but now that you mention it…
I'd forgotten all about that show. But I do remember those recaps with all that talk about potential…
With the exception of Big Bang Theory, which I thought was okay the first couple of seasons and then stopped watching, I don't care all that much about, or watch, any of those shows, but I still suspect you may be on to something.
Ah yeah, that's right, he's married to Danes. I thought the first season of that show was okay, some very intense moments and strong acting, but I stopped watching during season two. Just felt the plot went haywire.
Garbage… Such a strong word. Do you genuinely believe it's garbage, that there's no redeeming qualities whatsoever, or are you just trying to get a rise out of people?
Well, that sucks.
Is Hannibal nominated in any categories?
It does indeed and you could be right, but I suspect that the writers just couldn't help themselves because it made for such a great final shot with that "The Future" sign. They said to hell with how realistic is it that it just happens to be at that exact spot and let's go for it anyway.
I don't think Dr. Narcisse meant anything by it. He decided to have a her killed while they were driving, gave his henchman the look, the henchman stopped the car right away, killed her and it just happened to be at that spot. If I'm not mistaken he didn't even look out the window while his goon did the dirty job for…
I'd forgotten about Angel Heart and Maltese Falcon.
marcus75 said Revenge of the Sith? I don't get it.
The ending is terrible though. Really, really terrible. Shame, because as you said, otherwise it's not a bad little monster movie.
It's true you have no idea where it's going and when it finally goes to hell (almost quite literally), it's some powerful stuff.
I was so hoping for White Tulip to be mentioned. But what can you do.
I lost interest in that show towards the end, just felt like it went of on a tangent, but I could watch that episode any day. Moving stuff and terrific performances by Weller and Noble.
Both. I named my band Flat top and the Stupidest.
If the film on occasion almost entered Besson's more fantastical stuff it would be easier to buy the reason, but as it is, it just seems like, well… showboating. But okay, a little showboating never hurt anyone and he did mention the word comics earlier, so you're right, his ass is covered.
I haven't seen a Besson directed film in years, but this is maybe something I'll check out. Sounds like stupid fun, but unlike Red or whatever, I presume it's done with style.
I kind of like Derek. It's sweet and it makes me laugh.
I know I should be all snarky and filled with hate, but I'm just not feeling it. Someone drag me out behind the barn and put an end to my not-miserable life.
Dogme has been dead for years. But in 2034 people will still ask if Dogme is dead, so I guess it never really dies.
