The coda almost ruined it for me. If you want to go dark, go goddamn Dark!

Not really.
That was some great dialogue.
Oh, I didn't know they included that fishing lure bit, thought it was just the dialogue scenes. I feel like an idiot, but thanks.
Cool. Thanks a lot.
I decided to give this one another shot yesterday. That wasn't a good idea.
I'm not sure if it's considered okay to post links to other sites here?
Those are four great reasons to like the show, but the people behind the scenes are doing amazing work too. The costumes, the sound work/music (who can tell the difference?), the sets, camera work…
"It was pretty meticulously plotted"
They're keeping it up in the air.
I know what you mean, but you had to point it out.
They can't use anything that originated in Silence of the Lambs. That means no Clarice or Buffalo Bill, but someone like Crawford or Merger are okay because they're originally from the other Harris books.
Hadn't seen this. Now I feel dumb.
Haven't seen the film, but I was under the impression that a lot of the old-fashioned, real special effects moments on the raft were CG too?
I like Alana because Caroline Dhavernas is hot.
[Beat.] So what do people say on the… what are the discussions on her character? [Laughs.]
One of my favorite things about the fight is the way Lecter does a little nose wipe type thing right after he's done his best to destroy Tobias' arm. Like you said, they showed us a little bit of the human side earlier in the fight, but that moment shows us that we're right back with Hannibal the Immaculate Dresser…
Well put InspectorLongfellow. 100% agree.
True, they're doing what is right for the story and the characters, but as Fuller points out, they also did that because Mikkelsen wanted to, so there's an air of people making things up just because they seem fun or cool. That they manage to bring these things together is remarkable.
I love that James Bond fight. It wouldn't work if there was one every episode but it felt like a nice break.
