Trent killing the kittens was the only joke that really made me laugh hard in this episode. B+ is too high.

Except that she is very clearly the heroine of the series, and viewers are placed in the position of viewing events through her perspective. Therefore I can have a rooting interest in her issue of the week, but I'm not invested in the overall stakes of the series —in part because I'm not clear what they are.

Maybe he forgot about it because it isn't on right now and won't have new episodes again until next year.

I would like to see Sarah pursue something along the lines of the shows Louie CK and Marc Maron have made. Of course, she already had her own show and it was so intentionally silly and absurdist. Maybe she doesn't have the interest in exploring more serious themes and emotions.

Now that this is on Fridays, I catch up with episodes almost as an after-thought usually on Sunday morning, so I haven't watched the finale.

Who casts Lindsay Weir as a woman old enough to have an adult son?

Fred Ward, not so much.

HIMYM has been on TV for over seven years, and they are approaching 200 episodes.
You claim you've never watched even ONE entire episode.
Why would you even be inclined to offer an opinion about it?
What value did you think there was to any observation you had that would even justify the effort you expended to post it?

I wish there was a way to enshrine this post of yours, jamespope, as the ultimate example of voicing a completely baseless (and thus completely worthless) opinion, AND passive-aggressively insulting the other posters, in 100 words or less.
