Introducing an important change in Louie's life like having to take care of a 13 yr old girl that he hardly knows while her mother is incapacitated, and then dropping it immediately, would alter my perception of the series.
It's okay with me if CK doesn't want to be a slave to continuity, but if he wants to put his

If CK wasn't planning on continuing this thing with his niece next week and possibly into the start of the third season, then this was piss poor planning on his part. "Duckling" was the logical season finale —a very special hour-long episode. The only reason not to air this earlier than "Duckling" was because CK plans

Gonna be tough to make this into a season long story arc when next week is the season finale

My posting was minimal because that is all the explanation necessary to answer the question posed in, and since edited out of, the posting to which I replied.

Lake Bell is so sexy
[She's on the cover of this month's MAXIM

And she does all this comedy work
Shouldn't she be 100 times more famous?
(Instead NBC is shoving a Whitney Cummings sitcom down our throats —gah)

Those are perfectly sane comments for a person who is not at all crazy to make.

"they" is plural

I'm not wearing any pants right now.

I love this scene, and that line —"Good friends, sitting around, chewing gum"— always makes me laugh. Add in Jerry casually cleaning his phony glasses, and the shot of the three guys just sitting there, chewing. Hilarity!

When the primaries started, Hoynes was the clear front-runner for the Democratic nomination and Bartlet was going nowhere fast. If Hoynes had leaked the news about the MS at the convention, he would have a claim to the nomination, but it wouldn't be automatic since he was beaten in the primaries. Plus, taking Bartlet

Ugh. That stupid martini thing.

As the host of the #1 late night show for over a decade, Jay Leno calls the shots. No one at NBC was going to be able push Leno out of the job if he had simply said he didn't want to give it up.

Pack, it's important to remember that all the decisions about this were made in a context.

The Stall on IMDb
For no discernible reason, "The Stall" has the longest, most specifically detailed synopsis I've ever run across at IMDb.

Don't be like Buzz Killington
Rather than Sunny's LW5, this episode reminded me of My Name Is Earl's "Our Cops Is On" —a "for the fans" episode with a huge dollop of silly goofiness and lots of inside jokes.

Every time MJFox turns up in small role one this show or on Rescue Me, it is a reminder of what a great TV actor and what a welcome presence he is.

Which would you rather…?
be known as: A man-whore or someone who "likes" old women?

The first time Max met Alex, Max commented on him being black.
If you think he should be making offensive comments because he is autistic, he would only repeat things that he has heard, and (apparently) Kristina and Adam don't throw racial epithets around in private.

One thing for certain is that when you date/marry one Braverman, you get the whole entire family in your life.

I direct your attention to the final episode of The Dick Van Dyke Show.
