I am LIVID that CHiPs never got the animation spinoff treatment. I would have gladly watched hour after hour of adventures involving Ponch, Jon, and Sgt. Getraer. They could have been creative, too, with changing Bruce Jenner's character from Steve McLeish to a canine pal named Steve McLeash.

No hoedowns in the first two episodes. Pity.
