I LOVED THE HALLOWEEN CANDIES SKETCH. Steve Buscemi's Christmas ornaments one is one of my all time favourites ("This one's from my first Christmas- 2008. I just never heard about it before then. It never came up!") and I was delighted that the premise was back. And now it can go to sleep forever instead of risking…
Maya Rudolph as Maya Angelou impersonating Ann Perkins, as a prank.
Some guy in a Rob Lowe mask.
It's okay everybody I have found the solution. They just need to replace Rashida with Maya Rudolph as Ann and make no mention of it.
Practically every member of my extended family has excitedly told me that I'm exactly like Amy, and I just need to find my Sheldon. None of them can understand what a horrible thing that is to say to a person.
It's gloriooouuus. I flew over to see it twice in Stratford during its original run when I was living in Italy and I've been hoping for its Tony sweep ever since.
I take my Tonys for the entertaining telecast and my Oliviers for actually awarding excellence. Kinky Boots was ho-hum at best, Matilda is a work of genius all round.
More like a series of gut stabs amirite.
Oh I meant "take away the writers that were particularly notable on this show". I know writers change a lot. I did not fully spell out how my science metaphor was working.
Watching Community has become more like a study in television production than purely entertainment. Next experiment: Reintroduction of volatile show runner, other variables (key directors, producers, writers) remaining constant. Let's see what happens.
I almost, ALMOST could have dealt with the Wrath of Khan rehash scene, and then they have to go and make Spock yell the damn line. And the theatre erupts in awkward laughter and I am absorbed into my seat out of second hand embarrassment for everyone involved in the production.

I had A MOMENT when Cristin Milioti was revealed. Saw her in Once and fell in love pretty hard. I was fully expecting to be underwhelmed with the Mother casting, but somehow she's perfect. OKAY HIMYM YOU GAVE ME A FEELING, WELL DONE.
No kidding: http://www.youtube.com/watc…
That last sketch has GOT to have been written by Chelsea Peretti, right? Inspired by her infamous terrifying German caller on her podcast? "Did you get my letterrr"
Stand out from the show for me was Sudeikis lookin' fly. I am attracted to that gentleman. Especially in cardigans.
Also Kate McKinnon's reaction faces in the Grease sketch were great.
Abed's happy place was a lot like Kenneth's ideal NBC. Hmm. HMM. Somehow I had never made a connection between those two characters before.
Oh so that wasn't Emilia Clarke then okay that makes sense carry on.
I'm surprised Amy didn't involve him in a bit, tbh.
