Fuck mental deterioration~my Mum came back from staying at my brother's and I asked her if he'd talked to her about the illness he had that was making him lose weight. She got incredibly worried and thought he was hiding something from her so as not to worry her. Turned out that I'd dreamt the whole conversation

I have my late father's vinyl of this and it's the 72 reissue with the poster. Some of the lyrics on here have the Tyrannosaurus Rex hippie nonsense (especially The Supermen) but the title track's great and Black Country Rock is one of my absolute favourites but that could be because Dad was from the black country.

Still trying to foist mime on the masses til the end (nobody likes it David!) But seriously you are a national treasure and I love you. My daughter's the same age as David and Iman's Lexi and the first thing I thought of on hearing this news was how delighted she must of been when he did that great guest spot on

I think that I can pretty much guarantee that Y Dydd Olaf by Gwenno is going to to top the polls for best Welsh language sci fi themed album of this or any other year (it actually came out last year). Gwenno used to be in the Pipettes and this latest record is another left turn in what's been a fabulous career so

Luckily the amount of residual amphetamine in his system means that his trademark mole/wart hybrid lives on and will continue to tour under the Motörhead banner as a three piece with the titular umlauts backing him up.

Beautifully dark humour and everybody I speak to has a different favourite section. Well worth looking out.

Wild Tales a.k.a Relatos salvajes was 2014 really but since it made it into your best scenes of the year I'll take that as a green light to include it here. Wonderful movie.

Star Wars: A Huge Nope

Really glad to see that scene from Wild Tales although I would of plumped for the road rage sequence myself which I found extremely hilarious.

Wow, thirteen American acts out of 15. USA were really killing it this year (stifles yawn).

Yeah he's a bit flaky at the best of times but it's not the same when he's not there.

Poor old Thepchaiya Un-Nooh! I haven't been in to this tournament because Ronnie's not playing but I did see Thepchaiya fluff his lines so expensively.

Same as last week with Masterchef The Professionals and The Last Panthers which I'm continuing to overlook its many shortcomings because it has something (and it's probably the excellent cast) about it that I find very enjoyable and watchable. Also it's produced by Warp films in conjunction with Sky which means it
