This is an awesome weekend.
This is an awesome weekend.
I have long been a fan of generic or private label brand names. I get a huge kick out of stuff like "Dr. Thunder" and "Panburger Partner." So when Walgreen's launched "NICE!" as a brand name the world got just a bit brighter.
Baseball is the greatest. The Angels finally won two more games this weekend and it was like finding out I don't have a fatal disease.
Really dug this episode. Was funny in both the right and wrong places. I mean, really, the Brienne thing should not have been funny, but hearing her holding off several men (the "OW!" coming from the woods as Jaime attempts to save her is hilarious) had its own humor. The Pod stuff, while certainly gratuitous at…
Catelyn is wearying enough as a grieving mother at this point. The momentum stops every time she's on screen, no matter how good she is in it. If only someone would get her to smile. Ear to ear. Big smile.
I would have liked the song to be a little more faithful in style to what I had imagined, but The Hold Steady is no bad Kings of Leon cover band. I think they peaked some time ago, but jeez, man.
Yeah, I had to double-check to make sure Sakharov wasn't the director here, since "What Is Dead" last year was so good.
It was awesome. If he had a mic he'd drop it.
I thought their mutual dislike came through all right.
@czar, where did you hear that? I've never heard that confirmed.
I loved how they turned Melisandre into a "One and Done" kind of deal. The way she pitied him was just fantastic. We talk about the position women are in in this world, and she just holds men under her sway like no man on the show ever does.
Ohhh, that's the best.
The weird thing was that the Brienne thing went on so long, with so much obvious fighting and "OW!" that it kind of was funny. I mean, that struggle went on forever, and she came out of it unbesmirched.
It was so dark and weird I couldn't help but love it. Finally do something GOOD and SELFLESS for once? Fine. Lose your hand, everyone sings.
I read that in Logan Cunningham's voice.
Yes.
YES. The way this episode both took its time wihle also dumping content on viewers was just great. Dan and DB did a fantastic job first time behind the lens.
Well, three down…
Paul Feig said she would've gone pretty far into her own thing and eventually come back around.
Finished The Hunger Games and began Catching Fire. Definitely a smooth transition, as time passes but nothing else seems even the slightest bit different. Hunger Games certainly wasn't bad. Interesting enough to keep going for sure.
