It really captured how dark and weird the episode was. This was such a wonderful shake-up that I ended up grinning at the end. After the way the show got out of the gate, with two interesting but admittedly slow episodes, this one was so different and refreshing.

The Flax is definitely one of my favorite early episodes. Great Chricton/Sun stuff, great Rygel stuff, and of course the D'Argo part is very entertaining. The female reveal is both hilarous and surprisingly tender.

Yeah, Hulu was Daybreak and I liked it.

Exactly. Don't look down on me for drinking Folger's coffee while understanding that home-roasting your sourced beans doesn't make you better.

Oh come off it,  @Dikachu:disqus . Everypony clops.

I like The Magicians but it can be an exhausting read. The most unsatisfied heroes ever in that one.

There are a handful of theatre experiences that I will never forget. Jurassic Park is one of them. A movie made for the cathedral of film.

I thought about that omission. The Bends to In Rainbows, excepting Amnesiac, is all pretty much core curriculum.

If you think you might like Radiohead, yeah, The Bends, OK Compter, Kid A, and Hail to the Thief are all just great albums.

The Powerpuff Girls is one of the best of its ilk, and I find myself laughing sometimes even as an adult, but yes, it's mostly just mildly entertaining.

You neither fur us nor agin' us. You one o' dem fancy pants "compromisers."

I haven't seen them all, but mostly I hate The Natural. I saw it once and have forever wondered why people liked an ancient Robert Redford playing a teenager and then that ridiculous homer. I love baseball more than every other sport combined, but I don't have a high opinion of most movies about it. As I've said in

I do not understand SHAKY CAM. I saw Hunger Games on Netflix and watched a bit of it because I'm reading the book, and good lord, that's a vomit-inducing camera thing going on there.

It's a cute show for children. I don't see what a well-adjusted adult would get out of it.

Avoiding Jurassic Park cannot be qualified as "success."

I understand the straight competition shows and have watched them before. You find something about a topic you like and it's not bad.

That's how long I have hated those games. Not for everyone, but playing them myself.

College sports in general. Drop the facade. It's a sick, corrupt system that takes our institutions of education and whores them out for sports that do not complement the educations of the "student-athletes" and takes advantage of the money those students bring in as they hope to cash a real check someday for their

I was far into the Geek Minstrel angle at one point, but I think the show has somewhat outgrown that and become more about the characters. Yeah, there's some easy nerd jokes, but these characters have also grown into relationships. It's not a GOOD show (I only watch it when forced to), but it's less about cheap shots.

You'll need more than a month.
