that perfect 10 on IMDB though

He lied about involvements with Pinochet, bypassed congress for bombing missions that ended 500,000 cambodian lives, and had zero true intent on ending Vietnam peacefully. There were plenty of advisors who knew Kissinger's nature and resigned before the secret Cambodian bombings, which he tried to cover up. It's not

this is really glib. he lied and knew it, he knew what he was doing when he was doing it, and deserves the same punishment we'd call for those in power in other countries if they committed the same acts. If we shrugged off anything with "it seemed right at the time" logic I guess no one in our history was evil.

It's the specific nature of Kissinger's legacy that makes his treatment more head turning than that of Obama's.

that's what I tried to think at first, but you -know- it was all smiles and handshakes to get him to do the security joke. Colbert's proved he knows exactly the kind of stuff Kissinger did in Vietnam, he's even had the director of The Trials of Henry Kissinger on his show. However, having him do a cutesy line like

Bryan Cranston in roller skates (again) was long overdue, but was no one else kinda squirming when homicidal maniac Henry Kissinger showed up…?

Watson gives the movie its best moments, but ultimately I thought it fell flat and was nearly as vacant as its characters. after Spring Breakers it was basically saltless french fries.

My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy…. a Breaking-Bad esque study? only avclub
