COBRA is a real UK term.
COBRA is a real UK term.
This is based on the David Baldacci books. There are currently five in the King and Maxwell series, and the plot described in the review is from the fifth book.
To be honest, beyond the dangling plot thread about Ned and Chuck's fathers, the story works as a single block. And while I'll read a comic if it's published, I hope it won't affect my enjoying of the real show.
I agree sportzak,
I'm surprised the writers didn't have Robin using the umbrella earlier this year just to mess with our heads.
These reviews have stopped listing the ways of hiding pregancies, which is a shame as tonight's was great. Covering Cobie Smulders in a blanket and having her say "I'm pregnant".
Thank you so very much. Now I'm going to spend the week worried that the first thing Stella is going to say is "Why are you holding my receptionist's umbrella?". And then I'd have to stop watching the show, because that second Britney episode was really poor.
Robin and Ted
There seems to be a lot of talk about Barney and Robin and how they'd make a great couple, both here and even on screen an episode or two back.
The show about "the old guy who stutters and owns a small shop" is Open All Hours. Although your view of a "crappy neighbourhood" is a little off, that's just what proper working class areas used to look like.
Haven't we suffered enough?
Come on America,
I did like her appearance on the faux-quiz Never Mind the Buzzcocks.
If you're going just to see her, you won't be getting your money's worth. She's not in much of the film.
Oh, to live a life having never seen Pay It Forward. You lucky, lucky person.
Shame about Colm Meaney
While I don't expect much from this, I thought Colm Meaney was a decent choice to play Gene Hunt.
High School Musical
I've just seen the trailer for High School Musical 3, which contains a scene where a basket ball is thrown directly at the screen. Why aren't they protecting us from this too?
There is story potential
It could be fun if they took some pointers from a couple of British sitcoms:
Does it include the final TV movie?
I've enjoyed this show whenever it gets broadcast, although I don't think they've shown the black and white episodes in my country within my lifetime.
Great Series
The fact that the show it only runs for 16 episodes in total is a shame as it's great. For me the highlight is the start of episode 2.5, although whether anyone who isn't familiar with a very old British children's show called Camblewick Green might not find it as good.
