I'll admit this show's advertising campaign had me pumped up and I enjoyed the novel well enough, but I am may call this quits if it stays on its current trajectory towards Shittville. As for viewer ratings, one cannot expect much from a population which condones and encourages the likes of Honey Boo Boo.
