Until France elects Marine Le Pen and leaves the EU too. I'm probably being pessimistic, but these days I wonder.
But that's definitely about socialism - albeit socialism implemented incompetently. The government nationalized industries and printed money recklessly, causing production to crash and prices to skyrocket. Gotcha.
Not to take anything away from Jonathan Coulton, but this isn't the first show to sing the previouslies - https://www.youtube.com/wat…
I see. It is kind of odd that a good portion of the characters are Canadian actors doing foreign accents.
Were there any British actors in the pilot? The only Brits I can think of off hand are the ones playing Ferdinand, Kendall and the Duncans (I don't think Maria Doyle Kennedy counts).

Octavia is such a poser.
Nobody cares, Merida! You're only invited to round out the numbers.
I think Monica's comments in that final meeting with Diane showed they were right not to hire her (albeit for the wrong reasons). Who on earth would hire someone who accuses the boss of sleeping her way to the top?
I think someone once speculated that Isiah's tenure with the Knicks was an elaborate piece of performance art.
