I tend to really like people who like Joni Mitchell, but I can't stomach Joni Mitchell. Same goes for Leonard Cohen.
I haven't once mentioned that Romney is a politician. Where have I said you personally were outraged? If you intuited that then my bad. If you're going to dissect my post history, at least get the stuff right. I'm not blaming you for anything. I wouldn't hold it against people if the way Romney treats his dog…
You're correct that you have more empathy than I do on this issue. Even though strapping your dog to the roof is a weird thing to do, I don't find it to be worthy of outrage, at least on my part. And since I'm not as worked up as you are about it I'm a monster. Ok.
Honestly, I didn't know about the Obama/dog thing until today. And I don't really care about that either.
No amount of calling me a monster can make me care about what a Mormon from Massachusetts does with his dog on a family vacation.
This isn't meant as a knock against Community, but I feel like this is what separates the two shows the most for me. People do change, and don't need to constantly be talking about how they're changing. You can see that kind of change happen gradually over time and P&R nails it in this regard.
Unrelated: I felt like I was the only person who didn't give a shit about Mitt Romney strapping the dog's kennel to the top of his car on a family vacation. Seems like great times for a dog.
I knew a MPDG in college. We hung out for a few weeks. I was lonely and a bit of an asshole, and she was enchanted by how cars lurched forward when braking. It only made me lonelier and more of an asshole.
Girls are always singing about their vaginas. Cartman says so.
The funny bits came from Dina's lies. And when it got to the end and it had all evolved into soy bison I laughed.
That's true. I always forget about the Fugs. Also the Monks. And my Zappa knowledge is pretty slim.
It may seem at first like overstatement, but it's pretty true.
Cymbals are socialist!
BUT BEHIIIIIND THE CHALET MY HOLIDAAAAAY'S COMPLE…
Um, "Geno."
Fuck man, the only tracks worth listening to are from the first disc of Peel Slowly and See. That's where the real shit is happening.
Getting the girl started off on the right foot, I see.
SWEETLY.
& Nico has a great reputation, but I don't listen to it much anymore. For me, it's got five or six great songs and a bunch of other stuff that hasn't aged terribly well. Still that's better than 96% of albums I have heard.
