Illuminati: New World Order was just a CCG version of Illuminati, which had come out years earlier. INWO was later sold as a complete set without the collectible aspect. Link from Boardgamegeek

It was initially very exciting to hack people's email in Deus Ex: Whatever The New One Was, but eventually, you start to think "Did the devs really need to put this much work into hundreds of mundane work and personal emails?"

I knew all those wasted hours on A.V. Club would finally accomplish something(?). (Also a plus: free editing services)

So I'm going to veer a bit from Video Game territory—sort of—to mention Wizards of the Coast's failed promises of complete digital integration for 4th Edition D&D.

Never heard of this. Sounds bonkers.

Yeah, the MMO is worth a few weeks or a month of free play. But it's no KOTOR.

Mac was a champ. That was fantastic. Much more surprising and impactful than the "Kree blood in Coulson's system makes him immune or something something" they could have pulled.

For me, he's always Jake.

I'm pretty sure that Asgard is another planet, seeded with proto-humanoids by the same unknown alien progenitor. So Midgard is just Earth. The Bifrost is an interstellar gate.

Ghostbusters: Origins

I like Daredevil. TV is just the place for him to be, and I'm excited to have a NYC-based Marvel show. It will be a great place for recurring B-listers to get their fifteen, like Punisher (Rehire Tom Jane thx), or The Hood.

At least they finally gave Tripp something to do…

That's exactly the pitch. The family-friendly, light hearted romp you describe would almost certainly be terrible.

… All of this Ant Man speculation (interest?) perplexes me. Why hasn't it been shelved already? What coked-out pitch could have possibly gotten it this far into the process?

HUMPER-DI-DOO!
