my god TV looked terrible back then. Looks like early 80s.

Will be interesting to see how the practical and digital effects meld together in the new Star Wars. From the teaser, it looked mostly digital. Hoping creatures and closeup ships and stuff give it that lived in feel that the prequels never got right.

I know that Spielberg pretty much directed Lost World from his golf cart. And over a video link at a graduation or something. I never saw or heard anything about Joe Dante, but of course I was a nobody on the film. The big boys were doing TLW basically so that they could immediately move on to Amistad, and then to

Sucks. He was awesome.

best show on TV.

sure. I was an office PA, so I'm not trying to sound all cool. I did get to drive a gas-powered golf cart all around the backlot, which was a lot of fun.

I can only assume it is to save money. The originals were all adults already, doing kid voices. So what would have changed? If they chose to change those three stellar voices to 'young it up', that just seems like a huge mistake to me.

name (or rather creature) drop time. I worked on The Lost World, and while I missed out of going on location to New Zealand (pre LoTR opening it up for films) due to some kind of hijacking, which made S.S. decide to just go back to Hawaii instead, I was on the backlot when Stan Winston studios brought the T-rexes

Hold onto your (cgi-enhanced) butts !

The new style = losing the bold lines and slightly badass smirks. It honestly looks like pretty good fan-art that is missing the je ne sais quois that makes the original so awesome. And cutting three amazing voice talents to save money = go fuck yourself cartoon network.

1995 was the year I finished college and moved to LA. Probably the most influential year of my life, and I still love and identify with a lot of stuff from that era. Getting our first playstation and firing up Twisted Metal, listening to KROQ, etc. Good times.

I love that somebody got paid to write thousands of words about a terrible game from twelve years ago. God Bless America!

Woah, Doc. This is heavy (and thick, high quality denim)!

Dennis Lawson FTW!

Thanks for the reviews Myles! Good work. Damn I really wanted Moriarty to show up this season somehow.

experimental sex colony. Wait, was that one of the choices?

imagination burn !!!

Control and Elias are most likely still alive. Otherwise they would have been CLEARLY killed for maximum dramatic impact.

Not sure Elias is dead. They made a point of showing his breathing slowing down. Dominic's head got blown open. By the rules of TV, I call Elias still alive next season.
