it was odd how the screen on his phone was dark.  who stopped the recording and turned off the phone?  They were only under for a few seconds, why not have the phone still recording him as he stands up to reach for it.  I don't like lazy shit like that.

I found him better at playing 'trying to do right' than 'trying to be menacing'.  I think this is going the way of the book, which would explain his swings.  BUT, the acting and writing are a mess, and at the moment it makes no sense the way Junior is acting.

Ugh.  The meningitis outbreak was a perfect chance to really amp up the stakes.  Have 150 people get sick, stretch it over 2 episodes.  Find the stolen drugs at the end of first ep, and then hang the end of the ep on realizing there are only 40 doses left in town.  Ep 2 is everyone deciding on who should get the drugs…
