That lyric (and by extension, song title) always bugged me. Is Jealousy the name of a person? If so, isn't that kind of stupid? If not, then what was the context? In what scenario would one address "jealousy" with any kind of salutation?

"Walk on the Ocean" was one of those rare songs where the radio edit was much better than the album version. (Source: Me, disappointed when I first played the CD after hearing the song on the radio.)

I always loved the melodramatic delivery of that newscaster. "…And ATE himself, to DEATH."

That is a fantastic way of describing it.

Good point. It is the definition of insidious.

Exactly! I would think that someone who doesn't have kids is perhaps more likely to be fine around them, since that person's life has not been ruined by them.

Tudyk must be tired of being typecast as robots. First in I, Robot, then in Rogue One…hell, they even cast a Tudyk sound-alike as Baymax in Big Hero 6.

Yes! I actually saw the film again on streaming, because my nieces wanted to see it, and I had somehow forgotten about that character. So when he first came on, I thought "Oh, right…now I have to sit through this guy's BS for two hours".

The most interesting part of the ending of Jurassic Park is how anyone with half a brain would hear about that ordeal and still want to go back to hang out with dinosaurs…

This is how Idiocracy starts.

Brittanic, as mentioned above!

They could portray the sinking in real time, and still qualify for the Short Subject category!

Junior high school, 1981: The kid in front of me in history class drew that "S" on his spiral pad, and I immediately recognized it as the Suzuki logo. I later confirmed I was right — he was into motorcycles.

Yep! I talked about that in another thread not too long ago:

The Batmobile shield effects in the first Burton film were also done using cel animation. For his part, Burton was intentionally going for old-school, "homespun" effects in that first film.* A curious choice for a Warner Brothers tentpole summer release, but hey, I guess he did succeed in making the effects look

It's possible I examined the header image closely for several minutes, in search of the teapot, before reading the article or comments.

Per the article, The Weinstein Co. offices are in New York. But apparently she has worked in the city before, so she must like it?
