Hmmm, I'm not sure what your complaint is. You say she gets ignored, but then you also note that she's "a decent actress who seems like a wonderfully nice person", which doesn't suggest that she should be viewed as a superstar.

I enjoyed it too, though it's been a while. The one thing I remember most clearly is the American guy (I guess Paul's character?) trying to encourage the group to determinedly fight back against the depression, and the others mocking him for such a typical "American" mindset.
