I actually agree with Disney on this. What I've loved about Star wars was that it was always for a general audience (with some mis-steps)

I kinda went the opposite direction.

The entire governed arc on walking dead could have been avoided of the characters talked to each other.

I really hate the consequence free mid season cliffhanger. Battlestar Galactica was kinda bad for this: "will the bomb go off? Find out when we return".
