Shocking that anyone ever thought this completely shitty band was any good. The music is banal, Coyne's voice horrendous, and to top it all off….he's clearly a douchenoozle, as his behavior makes clearer with every passing year. So, so bad.

Jeff Novak is the genuine artifact. If you're even remotely interested in the above song, you owe it to yourself to check out these guys' debut record on In the Red. One of the better punk albums in recent memory.

REM makes me question everything. It is—and always has been—completely baffling to me that people connect so much with this band's music. And it's not for lack of trying on my part! I've tried repeatedly to get into this stuff, to hear just a small fraction of what other people find in it. No dice. There is not one…
