Walking Dead is the new Heroes in the sense that all the characters are morons.

The thing that bugged me is we never get a great motivation for his character. He just seems to flip between delusional, manipulative, sadistic, psychopathic, and protective with no real reason.

I'd love to hear the conversation between Herschel and Michonne when they were tied up in the trailer:

I'm satisfied with how they handled the firefights.

Exactly. The wonder kids aren't bad, but they're being relied on to supply all of the humour themselves which is hurting the characters. Grant is the key to me. Give him some humorous obliviousness in the style of every other Whedon leading man and you could actually have a show.

I think the show is taking itself way too seriously. In Angel, Buffy, and Firefly the leads were all hilarious, that's what gave the shows their misfit charm. With SHIELD their only source of humour is the wonder kids and it's just not enough.

The lesson from today's show is:

I think the Martinez kill was him panicking in response to Martinez's attempt to get him to lead. He'd been hoping to retire and not go down that path again but he knew Martinez wouldn't let him.

To be phased out wouldn't she first have to be phased in?

I thought the re-frame was an incredibly bad idea. Bundsch had just trapped Holmes twice, I really expected the kidnapped girl was another trap to goad Holmes into doing something stupid.

Just be glad Thea wasn't still interning with Laurel or they would have given her the case.

I think they did it to make exposition easier and so his modern values clashing with ancient tradition would be more credible.

I'm wondering if Ward is supposed to be an anti-cliche. There's been a few instances where they've set up a classic meathead style scene with Ward then undercut it. And this episode Ward touches a staff that gives you uncontrollable rageā€¦ and gets really pissy, but never really loses control.

First one of the best Walking Dead eps gets a B- and now a decent AoS ep gets D+. Is it just me or was the point of the horrid site update to remove community voting so reviewers could do give crazy reviews without worrying about the reader vote contradicting them.

I don't think they mentioned other countries but I think everyone assumes it's a worldwide thing. Which doesn't actually make much practical sense since zombies can't fly planes or drive boats, but we're talking about walking dead people so I'll suspend my disbelief.

Not really. The salmon-ladder lusting was very awkward which is a sign of attraction (as opposed to objectified comments about him being hot). She's also shown jealousy and awkwardness towards Oliver's other love interests.

But I don't see how it's impacted anything so far. Name a significant decision or even character moment that came out of Tahiti? The biggest consequence we've had so far is the medical checkup.

He's stressed, his reflexes are different, and some people comment he's "different" but it's more a curiosity than an issue.

My read was that the only thing they held back was the fact the SHIELD agent in question was killed. Otherwise they didn't have the details either.

I thought the humour was better, and I don't mind the actors, but B- was the limit for me.
