I really loved Del Toro in Savages, but agree that everything else about the movie sucked big time. The only book I really enjoyed by Winslow was Year of the Dog, and I hope nobody attempts a film version.

Anyone who is a fan of the Iggy stories in PKM can find more of them in Danny Sugarman's autobiography 'Wonderland Avenue'. Sugarman has plenty of fucked stories about himself, as well (before he gets clean at the end), but the Iggy sections are pretty great.
