Here goes: Craig Kilborn's version of the Daily Show was far funnier than Jon Stewart's.
I also really like Beneath the Planet of the Apes because of how completely ridiculous it is. But if they start series with the rise of apes, then the eventual destruction of Earth by a potent cocktail of nuclear paranoia and religious fanaticism is a long way off in that storyline.
