I too cannot understand why some people like the things that I don't like.  What is wrong with you sheeple?!  Wake up!

My billionaire plan has long been to hire all the actors from Lost to film a scene-for-scene remake of the first season of Gilligan's Island.

@Yummish:disqus No, you're bitter because you've shown surprising dedication to posting vitriolic comments about a movie you didn't like, in a post that's not even about that movie.  This is clearly an obsession!

Yeah, I had some unexpected free time today and largely on the basis of this review I figured I'd give it a try despite my reservations in re: the trailer.  I'm glad I did…  There's definitely some stuff that falls flat, and it takes a little while to warm up, but once it does it is very amusing.  There were several

Ah, finally a "D" review in this week's batch.  All those Bs and Cs get boring.

Yeah, I thought this one was awesome.  IMO it's a much better action movie than The Raid was.  Not that they're crying out to be compared, or that they're even in the same genre really, but I saw both within a few days of each other and Sleepless Night fulfilled The Raid's promise much better than The Raid did.

Aha, right you are - I hadn't considered that angle.  Okay, I'll withdraw 75% of my sarcasm on the matter.

My vote's for a Hunger Games reboot.

No doubt.   This isn't so much "good" as "manipulative dreck."  Come to Disneyland or you'll never be happy, kids!

Quite obvious!  I'm just 40 minutes late to this party, is all.  I am long overdue for another re-watch of that movie…  A shame that there seemed to be so much tension on-set for such a delightful movie.

Not that I want to preemptively crush your hopes and dreams and all, but it was only ever actually the *touring* bit of NIN that he had put on official hiatus.  He had said at the time that he would continue to record under the name "Nine Inch Nails" (even though it did end up being something of a break anyway).  I

Those letters (at least the ones that I've seen, having worked at an ISP) are auto-generated by bots which presumably join up to torrent swarms, etc, and send out mail to the ISPs who own the relevant netblocks.  I'd guess there was little-to-no human intervention going on there.

That video was improved significantly by muting it and putting some Throbbing Gristle on in the background instead…

I assume I'm not the only one who sees "Free (with optional micro-transactions)" and knows immediately to skip reading the actual text of the review.  I get that that's the Next Big Thing or whatever in gaming, but I honestly can't fathom how anyone on the user side of the equation would actually desire such a thing.

See, this is EXACTLY why we have to crack down on movie piracy, and…  wait, what?

This makes me pretty damn glad I never signed up for that Third Man subscription thing…

Man, bonus tracks! I can rarely resist getting the version of an album which contains bonus tracks, if it's available (like TVOTR's Dear Science, or practically any reissue), but their placement back there does always annoy me. My smallest Unit Of Listening tends to be a whole album, so I tend to pay attention to
