Is it just me, or is this Roundtable a little short? I thought they would have more of a back and forth, but it’s just each of them giving an opinion.

Thailand is in the upper half of suicide rates. No idea where your information comes from, but it just isn’t correct: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_suicide_rate
I would guess there are a lot in Britain, but I’m not too aware of various British comedians’ political leanings. There is this stereotype that conservatives in the US don’t go after their own, whereas liberals will, but I don’t think this type of holding back exists in the UK comedy scene, so I can see political…
I really, really like the way Dakota Johnson says “No, I ain’t gonna do that.”
Hairpiece criticisms are the most valid criticisms. Isn’t that the basic premise of The Americans reviews?
Well, different reviewers looked at the two films, so no guarantees either way.
Ehh, the Ghostbusters remake got good reviews here before. I feel like the AV Club seems more positive on potential remakes than the people in the comments.
“don’t use it if you aren’t one”
I think you meant to write something else there.
Maybe I missed it, but why shouldn’t I watch the original, Real Humans, instead?
Supposedly he also doesn’t do Halloween cakes and once refused to do a cake celebrating a divorce. If that is true, then it wouldn’t be difficult to argue that he isn’t making an exception for them.
Well, this is looking to be a fun comment section.
The helicopter bit was my favorite part.
Yes, exactly that one! It would show up in the preview to publishing but not when I actually posted.
This reminds me of him teaching music theory on American Idol. Apparently Kinja isn’t letting me post a YouTube clip, https://www.youtube.com/ watch?v=pH9l8KlcuBA:
If you watched the Game Grumps version then the you know it should have ended with them kissing.
Hasn’t it been for a while? The best I’ve seen in recent years is when it’s really not relevant to the plot at all but just there for aesthetic reasons, like Code Geass.
Since I usually don’t comment that much anymore I had forgotten just how much I hate Kinja. I posted to that B+ career article and I got a million responses to it. But of course, unlike disqus, it doesn’t take you to a specific comment thread. And unlike disqus, I can’t edit a comment with further thoughts, so I get a…
I could definitely see Ron Howard. I need to see Apollo 13 again. When I watched it I thought it was one of the best blockbusters anyone has every made, but I’ve only seen it the once.
Never seen that one. All opinions are based on previously seen films and do not reflect the artist’s entire work. Reading opinions may cause irritation and inflammation of the bowels. Do not read opinions while pregnant.
Manhunter was really fun, but I’ve seen so many better serial killer films at this point, it really doesn’t stand up. And as a Hannibal adaptation, it is pretty poor.
