One day this summer, I stood in line at DC Cupcake in Georgetown. The line was out the door and up the block. After about 5 minutes of standing there, I had a "WTF am i doing?" moment and left. Upon later reflection I had to wonder where are going as a species when were standing in line to buy cupcake.

I was 12 years old in 1975 when I saw Jaws. Loved it! Great movie for a 12 year old. I cant believe they let me in by myself. Must a been a slow afternoon because i don't remember there being many people in the theater.
