I liked it more than you did, but you're right - it was doomed before it even aired. In fact, the only surprising thing is how quick it happened - even A to Z and Constantine got 13 episodes.

I think both she and Margarita Levieva were the best actors on the show, despite the material often failing them. Davis especially was shaping up to be the driving force of the show.
So he is. Well, he can play the immortal Expendable. No matter how many times you shoot him, hit him over the head, or run his car off the road, he'll just keep coming after you. Either that, or he's a clone. Intertect has his real body on ice.
Making human totem poles and waiting for a Millennium movie that will never happen, because god damn it Chris Carter!
"Blacklist"ed?
James Garner? Lee Marvin? George Kennedy?
All part of a good, balanced fanboy complex.
I've been putting Shovel Knight off for too long, but the one I'm really interested in is Axiom Verge. Any news on that?
Majora's Mask is a must just for its daring alone. It retains the basic look and feel of a Zelda game, while going off in radically different places in terms of story and gameplay. I can't say that any other game in the series upended my expectations so frequently. Sure, they tried the cartoony aesthetic in Wind Waker…
Agreed. 3D Zeldas, for me, fell off a bit after the N64 era, but the Oracle games and Link's Awakening somehow never lose their charm.
What I read is that he was considering Victoria's Secret, but decided on this because…whatever. And he hated it. Fine. If you read it differently, let's hear it.
Okay, you're right. I got it wrong.
I'm not going to defend this show, but the fact that you'd rather have watched Victoria's Secret makes me wonder why you tuned in at all.
They lied. They denied me Gus Fring this episode. Un-fucking-acceptable.
So I decided I'd give this show until the third episode. And I'm very glad I did. (Keep in mind, everyone calling this a low-rent Americans, I've never seen that show. Maybe it is; I'll have to get back to you on that.)
Do you want to marry it? WELL I WON'T LET YOU! How does that feel?
They are indeed beautiful and actually speak Russian, the latter of which certainly counts for authenticity. What bothers me is that neither is being given much to do - Margarita Levieva gets a rather blah romance subplot and little involvement with the main story, while Alexandra Peters is hardly a character - she…
Well, I'm glad someone thinks I'm not writing my life story.
"I do like that these spies, in the pilot at least, are less sex-focused.
It's not really being "prudish" I just thought that element was a bit
much, or stereotype, in Americans when I watched it."
Now that I've seen the episode, I can say that everyone does their best with not a whole lot.
