Not that I know of. His dogme film was made in '99, & the last I can find mention of is from 2005.
This. The whole "I meant to do that." is absurdly reductive. His films aren't for everybody, (that much is clear anytime that his name is brought up.) but from this review it sounds like the reviewer sees breaking from the familiar is a bad thing.
I think it's due to the rarity of people getting to hear demos, or leaks w/ significant differences. It adds a mystique to the recordings, one that satisfies some listener's desire to covet the obscure, on top of simply being the first version people heard.

Yeah, I knew this cute girl who would play & sing moldy peaches songs, & do it just dead on. Now whenever I hear them/her, I picture that girl instead.
On some of the premium spin off channels like HBO Max, they still have those Skinemax movies. They're new, but they might as well be from 1988.
