I don't understand all the Dogme 95 bashing. I thought it created some pretty interesting movies.

Not that I know of. His dogme film was made in '99, & the last I can find mention of is from 2005.

This. The whole "I meant to do that." is absurdly reductive. His films aren't for everybody, (that much is clear anytime that his name is brought up.) but from this review it sounds like the reviewer sees breaking from the familiar is a bad thing.

I think it's due to the rarity of people getting to hear demos, or leaks w/ significant differences. It adds a mystique to the recordings, one that satisfies some listener's desire to covet the obscure, on top of simply being the first version people heard.
I've noticed several times when I've listened to an earlier

I bought "Never Mind The Pollacks." Its been a while since I've read it, but really enjoyed it at the time. Ought to revisit.

My mother (in her 60s) would be appalled at Family Guy, but was gushing about him.

I really liked Hit & Run Holiday. Always remembered as the soundtrack to the first time I got pulled over.

I haven't read any of them, but from the title alone, "Warrior Cats" should make an awesome movie.

Yeah, I knew this cute girl who would play & sing moldy peaches songs, & do it just dead on. Now whenever I hear them/her, I picture that girl instead.

On some of the premium spin off channels like HBO Max, they still have those Skinemax movies. They're new, but they might as well be from 1988.

I thought everything being relatively mundane (until the last 50 pages at least) was one of the original book's strengths.

No. They've gotten far too much attention as it is.

As a show of solidarity, Del Tha Funkee Homosapien.

If Reddit from two years ago was hip, I'll have to go w/ Huey Lewis on this one.

I remember him being on The Sound of Young America (Bullseye), & liking him. I'd provide a link, but I can't find it.

I remember my mother telling me this was on. Pee-Wee's on in the evening? Black is white, up is down.
