It's hard to miss Illithyia too much since Crassus' wife looks so like her.

I'm enjoying the little details in the background, like the birds flying in Rome - it's amazing to see how much the show has progressed in termms of visuals since it started. Remember how the fight scenes were initially poor versions of 300?

There was also a part of me that was expecting to find out that Bloodyface Jr wasn't actually the son of Lana and Threadson, but that would have meant dropping the lovely circular narrative of Lana shooting her son and his father without a pause.

Me four!

I liked the moment just before when she put out two glasses - a nice case of show, don't tell, and also proof that Lana Banana hasn't lost her instinct.

Yeah, I'm not really digging these reviews of Parks - there was more going on in this episode than just Ron's story. For example, I liked the parallels to Leslie and Ron's story with Chris and Ben (and at a stretch, Ann and Jerry) and how friends look out for each other. Also, where the heck are the Stray

Unexplained nausea…a second generation of Bloody Face…could it be Lana is pregnant with a MURDER BABY?
