"I've heard it's a little better this year."
The show (especially this season) has had enough devestating gut-puches along the road, and on an emotional level, I'm glad they backpedalled for the ending, although I agree that having every element of Walt's scheme go according to plan was a bit too pat.
No loose ends my ass!
With the possible exception of the spider-kid (Drew?), Andrea's exit was the hardest gut punch of the show for me. I immediately thought of Brock waking up and finding her the next day, and I shuddered.
This article (and others like it) make the case that Walt was the anti-est of the anti-heroes, but I don't think he did anything significantly more horrible than Tony Soprano or Vic Mackie (except maybe for the Brock thing). But Walt didn't have the often jovial demeanor that those guys had, which may have made him…
Pod People is streaming? Aw shit!
Happy birthday!
Cholesterol free I'm sure.
Totally.
I liked that this and "Granite State" were allowed to breathe a little bit. Not every episode should be as intense as "To H'ajillee."
But, overall…very good episode, but not one of the greatest. I feel like whatevhaer we expected to happen…kind of happened?
@avclub-e19801f9caf39bff8afc5e4548f2942d:disqus It was straight up trolling, but I'm a bit of an extremist with flags. Part of me thinks that they should be reserved for "red zone" comments (threats of violence, legal action, etc), but I also understand that the moderators don't want trolls on the page.
I hated the original comment, and I agree that flagging it was some dumbass shit.
The odds of him going to jail at this point are virtually nil. He'd have to do something astronomically stupid. Maybe if he flew back to America and urinated on the White House lawn.
I hope the director is not suggesting that anyone who doesn't support Polanski is on par with Breitbart, but I wouldn't be surprised.
Goddamn, even with the self-referential smugness, this episode produced a belly-laugh count impressive even by Sunny standards. I continue to be amazed that Charlie, who is basically one step away from being the "Missing Link," is an adept composer.
@avclub-c156902f5b20b572848be18c11634dfb:disqus I heard it through The Daily Show. It was so unbelievably tone-deaf that it didn't need any quips from Stewart to make it funnier.
*tries to do push-ups, collapses in wheezing gasps after 2 and a half, unzips pants and fires up the internet*
That Littlefoot is so well-spoken! I wonder what neighborhood he's from.
Haven't even cracked 22 yet.
….whaddya need, a road map?
