Uh oh.  Did Nugent apply for the copy-editor position?

"Hawaii has always been a very pivotal role in the Pacific. It is in the Pacific. It is a part of the United States that is an island that is right here."

According that link, Quayle attempted to make ammends…by writing a letter to Murphy Brown's fictional baby.  I can understand being angry at Quayle's remarks at the time, but with the benefit of hindsight the whole thing is pretty hilarious.

People have become more liberal in regards to lifestyles that don't offend them.  But the economic and political forces arrayed against "other kinds of families" remain very strong, especially if we look at individual states.  I don't really understand the "we won" feeling.

"We're just like the Waltons.  We're praying for an end to the depression too."

"There's so many holes in First Avenue, we didn't think anyone would notice."

You forgot about the contributions of Glenn Frey and Doug E. Fresh, performing with the "Get Fresh Crew."

Is that guy a klansman?

I know this was posted here recently, but it bears repeating:

Ziggy had an interesting character arc, but yeah there were moments that were hard to watch, just because of his stupidity.

"(Affleck) is not cold face"

Don't listen to BonerTime, Mr. Wayne!  Apology accepted!

Referring to a Burt Reynolds movie from the 70s sealed it for me.

Guess Walt should cancel that trip to Rome with Gregory Peck.

"It's ok, the kids are safe there"

Definite Tarantino vibe in that opening scene in the diner.  I mean that in the good way; after so many terrible, half-assed ripoffs we've seen since the 90's, that scene made me fondly recall the loqaciousness of similar scenes in Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs.  At first I thought the blood on the guy's shoe was

Racist

Was just going to post this.  I'm getting a definite "everybody betray me" vibe from the first picture.

Stop ganging up on me!

I remember one of my previous dogs watching The Fellowship of the Ring on TV.  She had no reaction to the orcs and monsters, but she went fucking nuts when there were horses on screen.
