To be fair, we DID get the New Cult Canon show, at least.  We are not completely ignored, like some/most cities I've lived in.

Since the Buffy/Angel reviews ended, this has become my new Most Anticipated Feature every week.  I'm going to be horribly disappointed when this ends, too.

I will always remember AVP fondly for the scene where some girl wears an Alien head like a boxing glove and punches an Alien queen.  That was just a fucking blast to watch.

I liked "Synthetica", though I agree it feels relatively hollow.  It's catchy, relatively easy to digest, and it has a few stand-out tracks, which makes it easy to vote for but hard to really dig into.  It's a great time-killer, but not a particularly great album.

I'm just don't have the money to support a music obsession, sadly - I grabbed maybe 10 albums this year, and there were one or two I was pretty iffy on.  Of the ones I got, these were my favorites, though I feel bad leaving Frank Ocean and Brother Ali off my list completely.
