I like a lot of Ron Moore's stuff, but he has for the last 20 years essentially been that one kid in the back of a World Religions class whose mind was just, like, blown that other cultures believed in god, but who really needed to prove that HIS god was the right god.

If I strongly dislike the Malick movies I've seen (Thin Red Line and Tree of Life), are Badlands and Days of Heaven even worth trying?  A number of people have argued that they are more restrained than what he's been doing lately, but if they're too similar to his modern stuff I don't think it'll matter.

@avclub-ec581d0fa82907dc6f58d1e70bf346b0:disqus - I really don't consider Daredevil a B-lister*, considering he's had his own live-action film, his own book running for 45 consecutive years (until a two year break after he had an event focused solely on him), and four different fairly iconic runs.

@avclub-001d507e80c4e4d2ce4ba0a5590f8313:disqus - I didn't say anything about X-Men Legacy, just that Marvel as a company is far less willing to be risky than DC as a company.  This wasn't necessarily a compliment to DC, by the way - DC's editors seem to have absolutely no idea why people like their characters,
