I wouldn't be shocked if Spongebob won, actually, given how passionate its fans are in the nominations. Similarly, Battlestar.  I voted for "Slap Bet" because it's really solid, super accessible, and was never reviewed on the site, which seemed like an oversight.

Who doesn't love Robin Sparkles?  How I Met Your Mother has a ton of problems as a series, but "Slap Bet" really is a pretty excellent episode of TV.

I would be shocked if they made the Doctor anything but a straight, white male in the next 20 years.

My thought exactly. Amy has always been a bit bloodthirsty, while one of my favorite moments for Rory was in the otherwise bad "Vampires of Venice", when the Doctor and Amy are busy fight/running from vampires… and Rory stops to make sure a bystander caught in the crossfire is okay.

Waller's introduction was finally when I got what was bothering me about TEAM 7.  Every single character's introduction was basically exactly the same.

"Men of War" was solid, and could have been much better without the crappy back-ups running throughout, and "All-Star Western" is surprisingly fun.  "Grifter" and "Voodoo" took solid concepts and went nowhere with 'em.  The EDGE line was probably the biggest waste of the New 52.

Oh, dammit, I suggested "Dead Dogs and Gym Teachers", but "Looks and Books" would be an even better choice.

Also, just to throw another suggestion out there: FREAKS AND GEEKS.  "Dead Dogs and Gym Teachers" culminates in a pretty low-key competition - a Go Kart race for some ice cream - that ends up being about waaaaay more than ice cream, and leads into one of the best scenes of a great show AND a fine acting showcase for

"Subtle" comic books don't often become bestsellers, sadly.
